About Our Permanent Lighting Work in Menands
We put permanent lighting on the roofline of your home and make sure you know exactly what you're getting. No jargon, no upsell. We walk the house with you, show you the parts, explain the choices and leave you with lights you can run from your phone all year.
Who We Are and Why We Work This Way
We're a small crew that installs permanent exterior lighting. That's the work. A thin track runs along your roofline, LED lights sit inside it, and an app on your phone turns them on, changes the color and sets a schedule. You stop climbing ladders every December.
Most people we meet have seen these lights on a neighbor's house and have a few questions. What does the track look like in daylight? Will it hold up under snow and ice? Do I need a new outlet? We'd rather answer those straight than hand you a brochure. If a cheaper layout will look just as good on your house, we'll say so.
On the job we keep it simple. We match the track color to your trim so it disappears during the day. We mount it so it doesn't block your gutters or trap water. Before we leave, we test every run, set up the app with you and show you how to make a schedule. Then we pick up every clip and scrap of packing.

How We Do Things
Every option in plain words
Light spacing, color range, warm white versus full color, where the power comes from. We tell you what each choice changes and what it doesn't, so you can pick what fits your house and budget.
See it before you buy
We bring a sample of the track and lights to your door. You can hold it up to your trim and see the color match in daylight.
A written quote you can read
Your quote lists the feet of roofline, the number of controllers and any outlet work. Nothing is folded into a vague total.
Built for real winters
We plan the mounting with freeze and thaw in mind, so ice sliding off the roof has less to catch on. The lights stay up and keep working when the weather turns.
Where We Install
We're based in Menands and do permanent lighting installs across the surrounding area, including Albany, Troy, Cohoes, Latham, Watervliet, Loudonville, Colonie, Rensselaer, North Greenbush and Roessleville. Older homes with deep eaves and newer builds with long, simple rooflines both work well. We'll look at yours and tell you what layout makes sense. See our Service Areas page for more.
